Product Description

Glue chip glass seems like fern textured on a window in the winter. This attractive random texture is created by applying hot animal glue to the frosted glass and alowing it to dry under controlled temperature and humidity conditions. As it dries and contracts, the glue shrinks and cools removing flakes of glass from the surface in a random fashion patterned.
Glue chip glass special technique allows any design to be diferent, the glue chip glass technique can be used with clear or tinted glass as well as mirrors. It has been used occasionally in signs and in stained glass windows since the early 20th century. Now it's verypopular used for window, door, cabinet and background and is especially beautiful combined with bevels and bevel clusters, if extra strength is need to be tempered.
